The Bowlsaver Max4 is built for turners who want to core a wider range of bowls, from smaller projects to large statement pieces. With three precision-engineered knives and enhanced support, the Max4 makes coring safe, consistent, and efficient. For best results, it’s recommended for lathes with 1.5HP or more and a swing of 16"–25".

• Three-Knife System
  Includes the two extra-strength Bowlsaver Original knives plus the larger Max knife. Together, they core blanks from 3" to 18" in diameter with precision-sharpened Stellite cutters.
• Accurate, Repeatable Results
  Like all Woodcut Bowlsavers, the cutter returns to the same spot when re-entered, maintaining a consistent bowl shape as you patiently remove each core.
• Max Knife Advantage
  The uniquely concave Max knife is guided by a roller and supported by a steel post to stop twisting under heavy load. No additional tool rest is required, even for natural edge bowls, making coring simpler.
• Strong, Stable Platform
  The Max4 platform is precision-machined from cast aluminium and steel, anodised for durability, and built to withstand the pressures of coring both wet and dry timber.
• Tailstock Integration
  A machined No. 2 Morse Taper and 3/8"–16 threaded rod ensure stability from the lathe tailstock, delivering a secure, rigid platform.
• Comfortable, Extendable Handle
  Supplied with a 20" steel handle featuring a foam grip for comfort and control. The handle includes a spigot to attach a second handle for extra length and leverage if required.
• Versatility in Shape and Size
  Easily adjust the tailstock slide on the platform to core the bowl shape you want, from small nested bowls to larger statement pieces.
